Road transport is a type of transport that uses roads and can be grouped into two main categories: the transportation of goods and the transportation of people. The nature of road transportation of goods depends on the degree of development of the local infrastructure, the distance the goods are transported by road, the weight and volume of an individual shipment and the type of goods transported.
